Hundred years ago, rafting was an integral part of those who lived beside the river it was a necessity. What once was a wooden raft, today is a modern rubber boat. What once was a daily way of life near the water, turned into a adventure an excitement called rafting on the river. Due to its challenges and dangers, rafting causes a surge of adrenaline, on wild waters, paddling on dangerous waterfalls, avoiding rocks that spring from clear river depths, a special anti-stress therapy, one overall satisfaction.

The river Neretva with its length of 225 km, and its unique colour of emerald green is categorized as a „white water“ river, with its cascades, whirlpools, small waterfalls and it fast streams. Today there are two parts of the river used for rafting, one upstream near its source the mountain Zelengora in Glavatičevo, and the other more south by the City of Mostar. Whether you take one or the other rafting adventure you will spend a wonderful day in nature, clear water, canyons, cascades, waterfalls guided by professional skippers and supported by friends in a common mission, to have the best day in your life.

Itinerary I
Transfer to the starting point Ethno Village - Ban Vir to 10 a clock
Breakfast - coffee, tea cheese, kajmak, homemade – from the farmers of the next village
Preparation for the rafting – putting on the raft equipment and getting instructions on rafting behavior.
Rafting on the river for 22 km to the place Ljute (Tito shelter) 4-6 hours
Returning to Ethno Village - Ban Vir.
Lunch - homemade specialties - veal under sausage, grilled fish, all kinds of pies under the sauce, dessert.
