The starting point of this hiking journey is at Ruište, a small mountain 15 km above Mostar. A stony road slightly rising, will take you to the Varda peak a thick pine forest to the mountain hut “Adnan Krilić” on 1450 masl. You will enjoy the whole view from above to Sivadjia ridge, Kamenac, the clear and fresh air, small and wild animals, and thik pine forest.

From the mountain hut, the path goes trough the valley Velike bare up to Zelena glava. When passing through valley Velike bare, you can enjoy in the unique view to the ridge Botini, a few peaks over 2000 m a.s.l. and from the top of the hill one can see almost all peaks of Prenj above 2000m: Otiš, Lupoglav, Velika kapa, Vjetrena brda, Botini, Sivadije, Kamenac, Plavac and Zubac.

Additional information: Departing daily from Old town of Mostar, but can be arranged from elsewhere, if requested. Group price available upon request and subject to special terms. The tour is not private, the tour is a walking tour, no entrances are included in the price.
